Policy Subcommittee

 

One particular word comes to mind regarding our

area policy subcommittee:

 

CAUTION!!!

 

This subcommittee is responsible for the recordkeeping of all area policies 

which have been created and/or approved by our area.

 

Without this particular subcommitee, our area committees would find themselves

 so tangled in discussions of service policy and area guidelines sometimes

 for months or even years at a time before realizing that they have been

 sorely hampered in providing the services they were created to deliver in the first place.

 

 A regularly updated log of area policy actions is kept by our policy subcommittee.

When confronted with a policy question, our area committees can consult our policy

subcommittee to see what decisions have already been made regarding it. The policy

log makes it unnecessary for area committees to rehash the same question over and over again.

 

Our Policy Subcommittee meets at 2:00pm every 4th

Saturday of the month at the Free State Regional Service Center.
